Simplicio’s is a Filipino-owned food brand based in Australia that specializes in premium frozen tocino and embutido. The client wanted a website that reflected their heritage, authenticity, and product quality — a digital home that feels as warm and inviting as the food they make.
My goal was to create a visually rich, modern, and culturally authentic website that would showcase the brand’s traditional Filipino roots while appealing to both local and multicultural Australian audiences.
Design Approach
The visual direction blends heritage and sophistication — using deep tones, gold accents, and elegant typography (Playfair Display and Poppins) to convey authenticity and craftsmanship.
I implemented a cinematic video background on the hero section to create a memorable first impression and introduce visitors to the atmosphere and emotion behind the brand.
High-quality food imagery and subtle motion effects were key to highlighting Simplicio’s signature products — Pork Tocino, Chicken Tocino, and Embutido — making the site both appetizing and professional.
